Animals our fellow creatures / The Earthlings documentary

Last edited on 15/05/2016

IM not roast dinner, I’M someone’s baby

I stopped eating non vegetarian food after I saw the suffering the animals, birds have to undergo while being transported to and at the slaughterhouses. Example chickens are tied by their legs and hung upside down; how would humans feel when treated the same way.

Now on a vegetarian diet I feel healthier than before

From the Upanishads

May all beings be happy,
May all be healthy,
May people have the well-being of all {humans & animals} in mind,
May no body suffer in anyway.

Animals that have suffered so much on Earth; create a vibration on the astral plain which affects mankind, I quote from the book The Ancient Wisdom (1911) by  Dr Annie Besant

“…….animal astral bodies add much to the general feeling of hostility which was spoken of above, for the organized butchery of animals in slaughterhouses and by sport sends millions of these annually into the astral world, full of horror, terror, and shrinking from men.
The comparatively few creatures that are allowed to die in peace and quietness are lost in the vast hordes of the murdered, and from the currents set up by these there rain down influences from the astral world on the human and animal races which drive them yet further apart and engender “instinctive” distrust and fear on the one side and lust of inflicting cruelty on the other.
These feelings have been much intensified of late years by the coldly devised methods of the scientific torture called vivisection, the unmentionable barbarities of which have introduced new horrors into the astral world by their reaction on the culprits, as well as having increased the gulf between man and his “poor relations”.”

These  documentaries say it all

The above image is even more heartbreaking when you consider the psychology behind the behavior of the pigs.
Like SMALL CHILDREN, pigs believe that by hiding their faces, they are hidden from those around them.
These pigs believe that they are hidden from the slaughterhouse workers who are about to kill them.

A few quotes

"Truely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men" ~Leonardo da Vinci

We’ve stopped selling eggs from caged hens.
Take 10 people with you into this telephone booth and you’ll understand why.

If you can’t stand watching itbeing produced, you shouldn’t be eating it.

Settling in a green environment like the Himalayas—forming a community / travel group.

I have a dream

My dream is to shift to an unpolluted green environment and live in accordance with nature.

Please click on this link below to read the article-- Living amidst Nature:

I plan to form a group of people with whom I can travel to find out a suitable place to settle and on the way we can visit places of interest, ancient temples —it could indeed be a journey of a lifetime.

Whenever I have thought of something in the past it has always come out true but many a times I have not put the thought / idea into practice and lost the opportunity; this time I want to fulfill my dream of moving out of the city and live in harmony with nature.

Anyone with similar ideas are more than welcome to join.

To gain--may not be victory and to lose--may not be defeat

This is a teaching from the Mahabharata which I have finally understood after many years

When we gain / achieve something it appears that we have gained and are victorious, but the most important factor is what that gain has brought us.

For example if a person establishes a big business, earns a lot of money but in return he is always tensed with issues, always living in fear of losing his wealth. He does not have the time to enjoy the beautiful house he has built—has he truly gained in life?

Second example if a person marries a very beautiful woman, he is envied by all; but what if that woman always gives him a though time with her tantrums. Has he gained in life?

The other way round, the best example I can give is about me. I was a speculator and lost a lot of money in the financial markets; it was a huge loss; but after that loss it brought a change in me, now I believe in earning money the right way and am always at peace with no financial anxiety. I have truly gained after the loss.

So the most important fact is that what follows after we have achieved or lost something; has it brought peace / awakening or has it made us miserable.

Forgive yourself---she told him

Short story

Once a wanderer met a healer, they sat by the fire

He talked about guilt

“Forgive yourself”---she told him; just let go—free yourself

You will not be able to progress on the spiritual path if you carry this burden. This Universe will give you a chance to make up in this life or beyond.

He got a lesson that it is equally important to forgive yourself as it is to forgive others.

He kept looking at the fire, his eyes moist—she kept smiling with her eyes.

That night destiny had met destiny

His destiny to free himself from a burden

Her destiny—to guide him to his destiny.

Astronauts ----the Earth's Heartbeat---- Living amidst Nature

I have a dream to live amidst nature; apart from drinking pure water, breathing unpolluted air, growing chemical free vegetables. A person can lead a much relaxed life; have better mental and physical health also be benefited by natural healing properties.

Many people say that where ever you go you take your mind with you, so if your mind is at peace, you can live in peace even in a crowded city.

I too have written the following in one of my blogs “….. More important than abandoning the world is to abandon what holds us to the material world. One does not have to go to the Himalayas to realize that love is more profound than lust. The Himalayas are 50 million years old and as far as I know the soul in us is ageless…..”

Then why do I wish to stay close to the Himalayas? Let me begin by stating some facts about Astronauts.

The physical condition of early Astronauts deteriorated severely whilst in Outer Space. Researchers discovered the cause; this so-called "space sickness" was due to the fact that unlike earth, space lacks a magnetic field and that the Astronauts were away from the Earth’s natural frequency.

The problem was solved by introducing the "Schumann Simulator" into all space shuttles, a magnetic pulse generator mimicking the Earth's frequency.

Now modern spacecraft’s are said to contain a device which simulates this frequency waves.

This demonstrates the simple fact that we cannot be healthy if disconnected from the "natural biological frequency “of the Earth.

The natural frequency of the Earth also called the Earth’s “heartbeat” or the “tuning fork” of the planet---The Schumann resonance---7.83 Hz (fundamental) frequency.

Most interesting fact is that the wavelength of this frequency equal to the circumference of the Earth

So this frequency connects us to the earth and all biological systems resonate at this same frequency range.

Also this frequency coincides with alpha rhythms (7.5-12.5 Hz) produced by the human brain during meditation, deep relaxation and creativity.

So our brain is at peace when we are amidst nature

Also out in in nature, our body tunes into the earth’s frequency and can repair, rejuvenate and heal itself more efficiently

Our DNA resonates with a frequency and tunes itself to its environment in order to develop and survive.

Staying in the cities we are exposed to man-made fields sometimes called electro-pollution---They are all around us, filling the air and drowning out the earth’s natural resonance--- Appliances like computers, TV's, cell phones, radios, power lines, communication lines, radio waves, heating microwaves produce damaging electromagnetic fields , which take a toll on our health

I have come across people who use to visit certain places in the Himalayas but stopped staying there after the mobile phone network was put up.

I will end this article here, and by the way since I have mentioned brain waves and DNA some interesting facts…

The human Heart is now documented as the strongest generator of both electrical and magnetic fields in the body, much more than the brain and

Scientist have Proved that DNA Can Be Reprogrammed by Words and Frequencies

Vedas-----The language of the Birds

The Vedas are the most ancient text

Beginning of the Vedas are related to the performance of yagya’s {fire ceremonies / mantras}

They were transmitted from generation to generation by oral tradition alone, never written down

Then comes the knowledge part which is in the form of Vedanta mainly the Upanishads they were written and continuously updated

The words for the performance of yagya’s were never written for the simple reason that the language of the Vedas is the "language of the birds" hence cannot be written in either Sanskrit, or roman or English

There is often mention, in different traditions, of a mysterious language called the "language of the birds" "green language" "angelic language" “Divine language”. The expression is clearly a symbolic one---a language to communicate with higher realms

The repetition of these magic words or formulae is intended to bring about the harmonization of the different elements and to cause vibrations which are capable of opening up a communication with the higher states. This is the essential and primordial purpose of all rites.

In 1975 Frits Staal led a consortium of scholars and financed an Athirathram {Vedic Yagya} in Kerala and documented the twelve-day performance which had not been conducted since 1956 due to financial constraints.

Analysing the sounds, they came to the conclusion that mantras were language independent and they controversially concluded that this was indeed the “language of the birds".

Lastly some people say that the time when Vedas were composed the size of the human brain was much smaller compared to the current human brain size.

To them I have this to tell:

The Vedas were not composed in the Human brain they have been directly revealed, and thus are called śruti--- "what is heard"

It is like this if someone has a small TV and his neighbour has a big TV; it is that the small TV will only display a limited number of channels and the large TV many more channels----the answer is a simple “No”.

Because Channels do not come from the TV, they come from somewhere else the TV only catches the channels.

Look at a bird with a tiny brain; who has taught the bird to build a nest, certainly not the thinking of the bird with its brain but the one who revealed the magic words of the Vedas has guided the bird to build a nest and is certainly not related to the size of the brain.

The Philosopher had knowledge his wife had wisdom

This is a true story.

A rebel who was also a reformer, challenged the philosopher to a debate the one who would be defeated would leave the society for good.

The debate went on for 15 days and ultimately the philosopher accepted defeat.

The philosopher’s wife then challenged the reformer. Now she was face to face with the person who could answer all, the person who no one could defeat.

She did not ask him any question from philosophy or Vedas or any high level study.

She asked him a simple question on sexual union between man and woman, a subject which the reformer could not answer since he was an ascetic.

Having known her opponent to be a renunciate she put the right question for the right opponent; for she was a woman of wisdom who analyzed her opponent well………the story goes on.

In this true story the rebel, the reformer happens to be Adi Shankaracharya, the philosopher Maṇḍana Miśra and his wife Ubhaya Bhāratī.

I have always believed that women have more mental strength than men.

Adi Shankaracharya rebelled against the brahmin lobby (self-appointed custodians of religion) and challenged all, he travelled Indiawide establishing monasteries and reestablishing ancient temples and propagating his philosophy through discourses and debates with other thinkers.

In my other articles I have written why he started the tradition of the char dham yatra and gave the science of the eternal flame to the Badrinath temple (a flame which keeps on burning)

Supercomputer takes 40 minutes to calculate a single second of human brain activity

On 13th Jan 2014 Scientists in Japan simulated one per cent of the neuronal network in the brain using the K computer, the fourth most powerful supercomputer in the world.

With 705,024 processor cores and 1.4 million GB of RAM at its disposal, the K computer took 40 minutes to model the data in a project designed to test the ability of the supercomputer and gauge the limits of brain simulation.

The project saw teams from the Japanese research group RIKEN and the German Forschungszentrum Jülich centre collaborate to use the Neural Simulation Technology tool, replicating a network of 1.73 billion nerve cells and 10.4 trillion synapses.

my only question

Who designed our brain?

And it is up to us how we make use of this miracle; by having a beautiful mind or.............
